Accessibility Statement

What works well. And what does not.

supodo is a website about sport for everyone. Also for people with a disability. So it matters to us that everyone can use this site. Here we say honestly what works. And what does not work yet.

What this text is about

This text is about 3 areas. Area 1: the website supodo.com. Area 2: the sign-in pages. That is where you sign in. Area 3: the newsletter pages. You open these pages from our emails. That is where you confirm your subscription. Or where you stop our emails. You sign up for the newsletter on supodo.com. The 3 areas are not equally good. So below we always say which area we mean. Our apps have their own texts. Every app has its own page about accessibility.

How accessible is this site?

There are rules for accessible websites. The rules are called WCAG 2.2 AA. We follow some of the rules. This is true for all 3 areas below. That means: a lot works already. Some things do not work yet. You can read about them below.

This works already

  • There is a link at the very top. It takes you straight to the main text.
  • You can use everything with a keyboard. Menus close with the Escape key.
  • You can turn movement off. Then nothing moves on the page.
  • Forms have clear labels. If something is missing, we tell you in text.
  • Every page has its own name. Links tell you when they open a new window.
  • Newsletter pages: on 15 August 2026 a test program checked these pages. We also used the pages with a keyboard. We found problems. We repaired all of them. For example: there was no heading. The links at the bottom of the page were too pale. And you could not see which box you were on. Some of the repairs will only be on the internet after the next update.

This does not work yet

We know about these problems. For each one we say which area we mean. The colours on supodo.com were the biggest problem for a long time. Since 14 August 2026 the colours are good almost everywhere.

  • supodo.com: There is a page about data protection. At the bottom there is a date. That line is too light. It is hard to read.
  • supodo.com: Sometimes a page does not exist. Then an error page appears. The error page does not tell the screen reader which language it is in. This problem comes from someone else's software. We are waiting for the repair.
  • supodo.com: Our forms have boxes you can tick. These boxes are small. They are smaller than the rule allows. But you can also click the text next to a box. Then the area is bigger. We have not checked yet: is that enough?
  • Sign-in pages: on 10 August 2026 a test program checked them for the first time. On 15 August 2026 it checked 117 pages. All 117 pages are fine. Since 15 August 2026 a test program also checks the real sign-in pages on the internet. That is 7 pages. These 7 pages are fine too. We found 3 problems. We repaired all 3 straight away. Problem 1: you could not move the box with the rules using a keyboard. Problem 2: the star for required fields was too light. Problem 3: a password program could not fill in the sign-in code. But please note: on the internet we only check the pages before you sign in. We check the pages after sign-in only in the design.

We have not checked this yet

You cannot tell these things from the program code. A person has to check them. We have not done that yet.

  • You make the text very big. Can you still use the page well?
  • You use the keyboard. Can you see clearly where you are?
  • Every picture has a text. Does the text say well what is in the picture?
  • Is a foreign word read out correctly?
  • supodo.com: Our forms have a check against spam. Your device has to solve a task for it. On an old device this may take a long time. We have not measured how long.
  • Newsletter pages: a test program has checked them. And we have used them with a keyboard. But we have not checked them with a screen reader yet.

How we tested

We tested it ourselves. Not another company. supodo.com: on 11 June 2026 we looked at the program code. And we checked the colours by calculation. On 8 August 2026 a test program checked the pages. On 14 and 15 August 2026 we looked at the finished pages. We checked the colours by hand. Sign-in pages: on 18 June 2026 we looked at the program code. On 15 August 2026 a test program checked 117 pages. Since 15 August 2026 a test program also checks the real sign-in pages on the internet. That is 7 pages. Some colours a test program cannot check. We calculate those by hand. Newsletter pages: on 14 August 2026 we looked at the program code. On 15 August 2026 a test program checked 9 pages. And we used the pages with a keyboard. We have not tested anywhere with a screen reader.

What we do next

Next we will repair 2 things on supodo.com. Thing 1: the light line on the data protection page. Thing 2: the small boxes you tick. For orange and purple there is a decision now. Purple has already been changed. Orange is only a decorative colour now. We still have to make that change. After that we will test with a screen reader. We will change this page when there is something new.
